Crawick Multiverse is a major land art restoration project on the Duke of Buccleuch's Queensberry Estate in Dumfriesshire. Created by landscape architect Charles Jencks, the former open cast coal mine has been transformed into a stunning representation of theories of the universe, linking the themes of space, astronomy and cosmology, using the ecology of the site, and the materials found within, to inspire its design.

Directions: From Sanquhar, head to Kirkconnel, turn left on the B740 Crawfordjohn, as you travel on the B740 after 250 metres you will pass under a viaduct (rail bridge) take the 2nd exit on the left approximately 100 metres past the viaduct. See website for more details.
