Description: An historic Renaissance and neoGothic Castle estate in East Lothian, just 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Set in mature and colourful grounds. A glorious spring display of daffodils and cherry blossom surrounds the castle, whilst extensive mixed borders and a wisteria walkway provide interest in the Walled Garden. Take a walk around Sir David’s Loch, the natural woodland area at The Dell and enjoy the beautiful borders of the castle terraces, accessed by gravelled sloping pathways and stone steps.

Directions: Entrance off the B6355 Tranent/Pencaitland Road. 

Other details: Guided Castle and Garden Tours, teas, home baking and light refreshments available at Cafe Winton. Dogs are welcome within grounds.
