Description: Come and join us for a delightful evening soiree in September with wine and music, which will be held in the garden. The front is split into a gravel garden and a white, scented woodland garden. Go through the gate to the back and you will find a garden where the aim of the owners is to grow as many different edibles as possible: herbs, soft fruit, vegetable beds, fruit arches and edible hedging. Lots of research has revealed more unusual edibles, such as fuchsia berries, cannas and hosta. There is also a greenhouse, which, in addition to a very productive grapevine, helps Paul indulge his passion for growing chillies. Seven fluffy hens live here too. There are two ponds, one of which has a healthy population of frogs, and the other is a little pond in a Victorian sink (for closer wildlife inspections). There are herbaceous perennials and a cut-flower bed, a pizza oven and BBQ and around the corner is a food smoker. Lots of lovely places to sit, in a garden that aims to be as much a living and socialising space as a productive garden.

Directions: At Junction 2 of the M74 Glasgow to Cambuslang, exit onto Cambuslang Road/A724 towards Rutherglen, stay on Cambuslang Road/A724. Turn right onto Buchanan Drive then right onto Richmond Drive which become Chatelherault Avenue. Follow yellow SGS signs.
