Allotment Association of Crieff

Turretbank Road Crieff PH7 4AR
The Allotmenteers
The Allotment Association of Crieff (AAC) is set high up above the River Turret with stunning panoramic views of Glen Turret and towards St Fillans. The AAC is only seven years old and previously the ground was used for grazing horses and sheep. Without vehicular access the Allotmenteers had to manually create this little bit of paradise which was a huge task. It is without doubt one of the most scenic locations of any allotment association in Scotland. We invite guests to wander round and enjoy the 30 allotments which produce a huge variety of vegetables, fruit and flowers. Without mains water or electricity and subject to high winds and cold winter temperatures the allotments face special challenges, but none the less the products range from asparagus to grapes and specialist raspberries, along with the more usual veg and fruit.

Directions: Leaving Crieff on the A85 take the right turn towards Glenturret Distillery then turn immediately left up a track. You will see a small parking area and the path to the allotments which will be signposted. It is uphill and is not wheelchair accessible. Parking is available on Turretbank Road and is signposted. To access the allotments cross the A85 to the beginning of the path and follow the signs.
