The longest interrupted rose archway in Scotland smothered by rambling roses over a DNA pathway form the heart of the walled garden. A formal pond, water feature, grass labyrinth, yew-backed herbaceous borders with wispy grasses and unusual perennials, parterre filled with roses, cut flowers, soft fruits and herbs. Old espalier fruit trees trained against the walls, new orchard and Victorian glasshouse complete the walled garden. Alpine scree and gravel plantings, walk to a covenanter's tomb, short Bear Walk for little children, nine hole family putting. Heritage and Education Centre Exhibition.
