Brechin May Weekend Festival

Several of the Brechin gardens open this summer will also be available to visit over the May Weekend Festival. Descriptions for these gardens are listed under the Brechin Summer listing.
9 Pearse Street DD9 6JR (Irene and James Mackie): 23, 24 and 25 May, 2pm - 4pm
Bishops Walk 11A Argyll St DD9 6JL (Steff and Mike Eyres): 23, 24 and 25 May, noon - 5pm
Brechin Cathedral Allotments Chanory Wynd DD9 6EU: 23 and 24 May, 1pm - 5pm
Kirkside of Lochty Menmuir by Brechin DD9 6RY (Ed and Fi Troughton): 23 May 1pm - 5pm. Renovated by a well-known local plantswoman 20 years ago, the current owners are nurturing the existing garden whilst opening up vistas to embrace nearby hills and the Angus Glens. A well-stocked courtyard garden and large island beds extend the garden towards the wildlife meadow.

Directions: Most gardens are located around the town of Brechin. Kirkside of Lochty is outside town, off the A90 and along the road to Careston/Fern/Menmuir. Look for the SGS yellow arrows.
