Wonderful rhododendrons and azaleas are the principal plants in the garden, with a varied selection of trees and shrubs throughout. Spectacular spring bulbs, border plantings of herbaceous perennials, shrubs and trees. Extensive walled garden with glasshouses, pergola and ornamental plantings. Children’s play area and putting green beside the house. 

Directions: Gartocharn one and a half miles off the A811. The Balloch to Gartocharn bus leaves Balloch at 13:52.

Admission £5.00, children free.

Other details: Please note the house is not open to view. Plant stall and homemade teas in the walled garden. Dogs on leads are welcome except in the walled garden.
