If you are not wishing to attend openings just now, you can still visit many of our gardens through our Virtual Garden Visits.

A young garden situated on the edge of Lochmaben with delightful views overlooking Mill Loch. It has many immaculately maintained and well-furnished borders bursting with colour and a great variety of plants. There are well over 200 RHS Award of Garden Merit cultivars and a collection of 150 Phlox paniculata cultivars.

Directions: From Dumfries, turn left opposite The Crown Hotel, turn left at give way and then sharp left. From Lockerbie, take the right fork beside the Town Hall and after half a mile, take left turn.

Other details: The walk around Mill Loch takes about 30-40 minutes from the house. Wear suitable walking shoes. For keen walkers, the nearby Castle Loch also has a lovely walk of about three-and-a-half miles.
