The Herbalist's Garden at Logie

This garden, featured on the Beechgrove Garden in 2014, is set amid an 18th century walled garden and large Victorian-style greenhouse within Logie’s organic farm. Featuring more than 150 herbs, the physic garden is divided into eight rectangles including medicinal herbs for different body systems. All the herbs are labelled with a brief description of actions to help novices learn more about this ancient art. The garden also features a herbaceous border and productive fruit and vegetable garden.

Directions: From the A90, take A926 towards Kirriemuir. Just after the Welcome to Kirriemuir sign take a sharp left on to a single track road, or from Kirriemuir take A926 towards Forfar and fork right at Beechwood Place onto the single track road. Take the first left and follow signs to The Walled Garden.
