A group of gardens on the west side of the village near the Golf Course and including Srongarbh (last opened in 2015). Surrounding the Arts and Crafts House, this large garden dating from the 1930's includes many features. There are many rhododendrons and azaleas which will look their best in early June. Old and fragrant rose varieties surround a formal terrace and original pool and Japanese acers surround a naturalistic pond. Other gardens include a living green roof, woodland paths and colourful herbaceous borders.
About 15 miles south west of Edinburgh, take the A701 or A702 and follow signs. Bus 101 or 102 to Gordon Arms Hotel.

Tickets, teas and plants are sold at the Graham Institute from where a courtesy bus may be taken as there is very limited parking at the gardens.
