Aldourie Gardens on Loch Ness
A walled garden, formal castle garden, arboretum and parkland. The walled garden hosts a range of vegetables and cut flowers, as well as espaliered apples and pears. A historic glasshouse and extensive castle grounds consisting of large, late season, naturalistic herbaceous borders with beech topiaries and a central lawn with views of Loch Ness.
Inverness Botanic Gardens
The UK’s most northerly botanic gardens, includes a Tropical house with colourful collections from Southern and Central America and a Cactus House displaying agave, aloes and euphorbias from arid climates. A perfect spot for lunch.
Berryfield House Gardens, Lentran
An open garden of trees and bushes with views across the Beauly Firth to Ben Wyvis. A three-acre wildflower meadow with meandering paths adjoins the garden.
