Approximately a third of an acre of open croft land was fenced and a garden started, some 30 years ago. Now well established, there are glorious herbaceous borders, with a small azalea and rhododendron walk, a rose garden, arbour area, a small sunken pond and a well established woodland, complete with statues and fairies. Two additional ponds and a small shrubbery provide shelter for wildlife. Visitors are welcome to sit, or even picnic, in the numerous seating areas provided - remembering, to take all litter away, please.
