We are pleased to announce that some of our gardens will re-open from 15 July. We are currently updating our opening information. If you are not wishing to attend openings just now, you can still visit many of our gardens through our Virtual Garden Visits.

First opening for snowdrops in 1951, these mature grounds have a wonderful display of snowdrops as well as aconites and many other wildflowers. Walks through the woods and alongside the River Dee make this a memorable afternoon. In celebration of this 50th Year of opening under Scotland's Gardens Scheme, complete your visit with an old fashioned afternoon tea in the house.

Directions: On the A713 two miles from Castle Douglas and one mile short of Crossmichael
