This mission aims to help people overcome mental distress and promote mental wellbeing. Over the years, COPE Scotland has assisted countless individuals in overcoming life challenges. For them, success also means empowering individuals and communities to the point where their support is no longer necessary. As COPE Scotland approaches the final chapter of its journey, they are committed to sharing the knowledge gained over 34 years to benefit others.
The Healing Power of Gardening
We were thrilled to share our insights through Scotland’s Gardens Scheme Open for Charity. Gardening and spending time in nature profoundly benefit mental health and wellbeing. Caring for the natural world can enhance our wellbeing and provide a sense of purpose. When life becomes challenging, a garden can serve as a refuge, offering more than just a hobby—it becomes a powerful tool for enhancing wellbeing and managing stress. Regardless of the size of your garden, nurturing plants can bring immense joy and tranquillity.
