Kirkfauld Garden Virtual Garden Tour

Kirkfauld garden was due to open with the Gardens of Kilmaur in Ayrshire this May. Instead, enjoy this virtual garden tour by the owner, Frank Murray. If you would like to donate towards our fundraising this year, please use the button below.

A small burn runs through the one-acre garden of Kirkfauld. Informal planting lies to the south, fairly steeply banked with bulbs, bluebells, specimen trees and a short woodland walk. The north side is laid out in formal lawns, edged by beech hedging and shrub plantations, divided by dry-stone dykes. Visitors will find a 17th-century doocot which once served Tour House as a larder. To the back of the house lies the working garden, with polytunnels for roses, dahlias and chrysanthemums.
