Making a Mandala Children's Activity
Mandalas are circular designs and have a long history in various religion. We have found that they are beautifully mindful to create from a garden, and a very simple but enjoyable activity. Garden mandalas can be made from anything from flowers, to leaves, to pinecones - the limit is only your imagination! Join us as we show you how to create your own.
This video is part of our Gardening with Children activities. We at Scotland’s Gardens Scheme love to garden, and we also love to share our gardens and gardening with others. We especially want to encourage future gardeners. Our activities are intended to give parents and carers ideas for gardening projects.
