Description: The garden at Middle Cairncake is a good example of what can be achieved using ordinary and everyday plants; many visitors have returned to tell us that they felt inspired to try ideas in their own gardens. The garden is traditionally planned and is now, with small changes, becoming easier to manage without compromising our high standards of sustainability and self-sufficiency. We offer visitors an enjoyable tour showing a productive kitchen garden, roses, herbaceous annuals and perennials. Visitors can end their visit with a homemade tea in our winter garden. Group visits are welcome.

Directions: Middle Cairncake is on the A9170 between New Deer and Cuminestown. It is clearly signposted.

Other details: Homemade teas £5.00 for SGS and Parkinsons UK.
