The hidden garden behind the hedge where cultivated and wild meet. We have no ‘weeds’ in this garden which is managed as a pollinator’s paradise. This small cottage garden also contains a sunny courtyard, a Japanese area leading into a tiny woodland garden and onto the mixed border. Both the fish pond and wildlife pond support toads, newts, frogs and dragonflies. The main beds are an immersion in nectar-rich plants and bright colours. Various species of cultivars mingle with wild plants such as ground elder to create a species rich feast.
