Description: MUSIC OF REFLECTION
Bel Canto - directed by David Buchanan-Cook - returns to Cleish Parish Church with a popular programme of reflective choral music to mark the approach to Easter. Accompanied by organist Matt Edwards, the main part of the concert will be a performance of Faure's Requiem - one of the most romantic and best-loved choral pieces to emerge from France in the latter years of the 19th Century. The concert will also include much loved and popular motets by Mozart (Ave Verum), Bruckner (Locus Iste); Franck (Panis Angelicus) and two other works by Faure - his setting of Tantum Ergo and the beautiful Cantique de Jean Racine. These will be interspersed with French organ works.

Directions: Cleish Parish Church is situated in Perth and Kinross, Cleish lies 2 miles west of the M90 Motorway and 5 miles southwest of Kinross. Cleish is a small hamlet and the church lies at its centre.
