Current Openings:
Description: The Steading is situated on the Lunan Burn midway between Lochs Clunie and Marlee. The policies include paths that extend for 800 meters along the Lunan, a small, colourful cottage garden and six acres of woodland, ponds and a wildflower meadow. The policies are open to visit in the spring when there is a profusion of primroses, wood anemones and then bluebells in the wooded areas. In the meadow, snake’s head fritillary flowers first, followed by a carpet of cowslips and cuckoo flowers.

Directions: Three miles west of Blairgowrie on the A923. About 600 metres west of the Kinloch Hotel take the track on the left, just after a mobile phone mast and a breeze-block wall.

Other details: There are narrow paths, bridges and flowing water in the garden. We have friendly hens, hence no dogs. Check out https://youtu.be/Gqq6C-GQ4aU to view a short film of the garden.
