Coronvirus (Covid-19) Update

Seeing our way through the unforeseeable!
Last updated 2nd April 2020

Who would have predicted the current state of affairs as we embarked on 2020? We are all readjusting our lives, quite unsure of what will be around the corner. As the Prime Minister called for us to Stay Home, we closed our gardens to the public for the foreseeable future. ‘Foreseeable future’ was perhaps a dramatic term, but these are dramatic times… Now with a little experience, let us clarify our plans. We certainly hope to reopen garden visiting at some point in 2020, but any such decision will follow government and health advice. We plan to consider this a month at a time, or as appropriate. April openings are certainly cancelled, as most likely will be May. The 12-week period will take us to June, so we'll wait to hear the guidance. In the meantime, we will keep in touch through newsletters and will be available through email for anything you need.

The situation is changing all the time and the following websites have all the most up-to-date and relevant information including guidance, restrictions and useful links. We also ask that if you do visit a garden you look through this information.

UK Government
Health Protection Scotland
NHS
Scottish Government

In the meantime, please watch out website, sign up to our newsletter, and perhaps make a donation to help us help our 2020 charities who will miss out from the lack of openings this year.

Thank you for your patience at this difficult time. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as required. We hope you stay well and are able to continue to enjoy your gardens, even in isolation!
