Description:
With lovely open views of the surrounding countryside, this half-acre garden began as a small grassed area in 2007. Since then, it has been extended three times into an adjoining field creating six different gardens and a vegetable and fruit area. Ranging from very small to large, these gardens contain a lovely mix of trees, shrubs and perennials, a few quirky features and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy. We try to garden as organically as possible and from early summer the place is filled with happy bees and butterflies.
Directions: From the A9 just south of Tain, take the B9165 to Fearn. Go straight through the village, and continue for a mile down a small hill. Before the road starts to rise again you will see a small road to your left. Go down this road for approximately 100m. Pass the white cottage and you will immediately come to the Steading; we are the second one. You can park in front of the fence.
