Netherthird Community Garden is an oasis of calm in the centre of the Ayrshire countryside. There is a lovely cottage garden, flower beds filled with perennials and annuals, vegetable beds, polytunnels and wooden gazebos funded by The Prince Charles Foundation. There is also a beach, play area, vintage cafe, a new nature trail and wild garden, fairy door hunt and lots more. 2019 should see the creation of a bog garden. Volunteers run the garden, which is used by a wide range of community groups and all the children and nursery children from the adjacent Netherthird Primary during the week. A wonderful community project.

Directions: Driving south on the A76 Cumnock by-pass look for the roundabout signed B7083, take this exit which heads to Cumnock, after few hundred yards take right turn into Craigens Road, Netherthird Primary School is on the right.
